While we are extremely thankful to God for this wonderful provision it has become increasingly obvious over the last year that we need to undertake further building work. In God's grace and through His goodness the children's work here has grown substantially and our congregations are increasing. We are also presented with more and more opportunities to reach out to people in the community.
This growth is putting a strain on our existing buildings, especially as this Autumn we will be reaching the end of our term of planning permission on a temporary portakabin and caravan. It is becoming increasingly necessary for us to have newer and better facilities if we are to continue the work God has given us to do in a more effective way. Such facilities would give us the room to grow in size and in witness as we seek to effectively communicate the gospel to the people of this village and the surrounding area.

It is with these things very much on our hearts that we have commissioned a local architect to draw up plans for an extension (shown above). This will give us a good size building that would include a worship area with the option for a balcony, a number of small rooms, internal
toilets, a good kitchen and a medium sized hall.
Over the last months we have worked closely with the council planners and the conservation officer to come up with an extension and overall scheme that would meet with their approval. The application is now ready to be handed in and this should be done before Easter.
Please join us in prayer as the plans go in. We are fully aware that the outcome is in the Lord's hands. To Him be all the glory!
