Many question aren't worth asking. There are others that need to be answered. One of these is surely the question of Jesus Christ.

The Bible, as it reports on the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus makes some absolutely staggering claims about this man. Here are three of them.

First, it tells us that Jesus is God - the one who made all things. Second, it tells us that Jesus is king. Not just a king on an earthly throne but the King of all the universe.

The third claim is that Jesus is saviour - a rescuer sent from God to save us. What from? we might ask. The answer the Bible gives is our sin and rebellion against God, something so offensive to him that he has decreed it deserves the punishment of hell.

If all, or any, of these claims are true the question who is Jesus is perhaps the most important we could ever ask. Yet, how many of us have honestly asked whether they are true?

At Wellington Chapel we run a flexible course called Christianity Explored. It's object is simply to lay out the teaching of the Bible about Jesus, who he is, why he came, what he did and what he might mean for you.

You do not need to know anything about the Bible, just a willingness to ask the questions.

If you would like to join a course at Wellington Chapel or be put in touch with a course nearer to you email or phone Peter on 01432 830 055
