Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Good morning!
What a week we have ahead of us. Today is the first of eight precious days.
Perhaps it would be good to take a few moments to pray:
Father, we thank you for Jesus. We come before you today realizing the monumental week ahead. LORD help us to align our hearts with yours. We pray for those who are lost in sin LORD and will not regard this week as different to any other. We pray for those lost in worry and fear; please send the Comforter. We need your Spirit to illuminate Jesus afresh. Be to us all that we need.
We acknowledge you as Holy, righteous and glorious; everything we are not, apart from Christ. We thank you for the local and global Church and praise you that you are sustaining it and growing it, even in seemingly impossible surroundings. LORD we love you and give you our thanks and praise.
In the Mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
